Sorrento The enchantment of Sorrento, the legendary ‘Land of the Sirens’ hits you on arrival. Its beautiful coast and luxurious vegetation dotted with lemon and orange groves and the superb scenery all combine to add to the charm of this small town. It’s position above the sea creates its extremely original nature offering amongst other things panoramic views of comparable beauty of the coast, Mount Vesuvius  and the crystal-clear sea.   Cloisters of St Francis The monastery dates from the first half of the eighth century. Civil weddings are celebrated in the gardens Monday to Friday mornings.  Afternoon celebrations are possibile on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon only.   Catholic church ceremonies are not available
